परीक्षा की मुख्य तिथियां और विवरण:
- रिक्ति: 19,838 कांस्टेबल पदों के लिए भर्ती।
- आवेदन की तिथियां: 18 मार्च 2025 से 25 अप्रैल 2025 तक (विस्तारित तिथि)।
- लिखित परीक्षा की तिथियां: 16, 20, 23, 27, 30 जुलाई 2025 और 3 अगस्त 2025 को।
- एडमिट कार्ड: 16 जुलाई 2025 की परीक्षा के लिए एडमिट कार्ड 9 जुलाई 2025 को जारी हो चुका है। अन्य तिथियों के लिए एडमिट कार्ड चरण-वार (phase-wise) परीक्षा तिथि से लगभग 7 दिन पहले जारी किए जाएंगे।
- परीक्षा मोड: ऑफलाइन (OMR आधारित)।
- परीक्षा का समय: सभी तिथियों पर एकल पाली (single shift) में दोपहर 12:00 बजे से 2:00 बजे तक। रिपोर्टिंग का अंतिम समय 10:30 बजे है।

चयन प्रक्रिया (Selection Process):
बिहार पुलिस कांस्टेबल भर्ती की चयन प्रक्रिया में मुख्य रूप से तीन चरण होते हैं:
- लिखित परीक्षा (Written Examination): यह पहला चरण है। इसमें सफल होने वाले उम्मीदवारों को ही अगले चरण के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।
- शारीरिक दक्षता परीक्षा (Physical Efficiency Test – PET) / शारीरिक मानक परीक्षण (Physical Standards Test – PST): लिखित परीक्षा में उत्तीर्ण होने वाले उम्मीदवारों को शारीरिक परीक्षण के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।
- दस्तावेज सत्यापन (Document Verification): PET/PST में सफल होने के बाद, उम्मीदवारों के दस्तावेजों का सत्यापन किया जाएगा।
- मेरिट लिस्ट (Merit List): अंतिम चयन PET/PST में प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर तैयार मेरिट लिस्ट पर आधारित होगा। लिखित परीक्षा केवल क्वालीफाइंग प्रकृति की है।
लिखित परीक्षा का पैटर्न (Written Exam Pattern):
- कुल प्रश्न: 100 बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न (MCQ).
- कुल अंक: 100 अंक (प्रत्येक प्रश्न 1 अंक का).
- नकारात्मक अंकन (Negative Marking): कोई नकारात्मक अंकन नहीं है.
- परीक्षा की अवधि: 2 घंटे।
- प्रश्नों का स्तर: 10वीं कक्षा (मैट्रिक) स्तर का.
- न्यूनतम उत्तीर्ण अंक: 30%। 30% से कम अंक प्राप्त करने वाले उम्मीदवार अगले चरण के लिए अयोग्य होंगे.
